Priscilla and Gus both identified the intruder as Cullen Davis, her recently divorced husband. Cullen was eventually acquitted of the murders mostly because of his superstar lawyer, Richard “Racehorse” Haynes. He was retried years later for soliciting the murders, but he was once again acquitted. With two eye-witnesses identifying him as the killer.
