Explain the impact of introducing an e-commerce system to an organisation
In this document I will be explaining how introducing e-commerce into an organization can be beneficial for the company and I will be demonstrating the advantages and disadvantages when implementing an electronic sales system into an organization. When a company owns a ‘brick’ shop the target audience would be anyone within a minimal radius of the building and only people who are able to travel can access the store. In this case, Cuckoo can have their business expanding world wide to a wider target audience with the fact that they would have loads of people on the internet looking for clocks and watches to purchase, and the fact that those new customers can come across Cuckoo's online store and purchase products from the website. So, Cuckoo would have to chose a reputable delivery service because if there was any problem with the delivery then it wouldn’t be the courier company that loses it’s reputation, it would be Cuckoos reputation that’s lost. Therefore, Cuckoo would have to keep in constant contact with their delivery company so they can keep the customer updated on the process. Sometimes the delivery company might not travel to a certain location so Cuckoo would have to state that on their website before a customer completes a
