INTRODUCTION:
This case involves Suspect Winter being arrested for H&S 11377(a)-Crystal Methamphetamine. Suspect Meretta was cited and released in the field for H&S 11364(a)-Drug Paraphernalia.
LOCATION DESCRIPTION:
This incident occurred in the parking lot at 700 E. Washington Boulevard (Washington Park).

EVIDENCE:

• 2-Glass pipes approximately 3 inches in length with a bulb at the end, resembling a crystal methamphetamine pipe, with a white burnt residue inside. One pipe was found in Suspect Meretta’s black backpack. The second pipe was in plain view in the driver side center console drink holder.

• Plastic baggie with a white crystal substance, which resembled Crystal methamphetamine. The crystal methamphetamine was found in a plastic

Based on my training and experience, I recognized the crystal substance to be crystal methamphetamine. The glass pipes are commonly used to smoke crystal methamphetamine. I collected the crystal methamphetamine, glass pipes and Douglas Andrew Schulte’s property as evidence.

Sergeant Lomeli #5315 was advised and approved the arrest of Suspect Meretta and Suspect Winter. Meretta had a California Driver’s license in her possession. I cited and released Meretta in the field for H&S 11364(a)- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Citation #C423952). Meretta is scheduled to appear at the Pasadena Court on 08-07-17 at 0830 hours.

Winter did not have identification in his possession. Winter was arrested for H&S 11377(a)-Possession of a controlled substance. I filled out a PPD Field Interview Card on Ray Andrew Ramirez (PPD FI#171430). Ramirez was later released in the field.
Officer Calderon and I transported Winter to the Pasadena City Jail for booking. Winter was later cited and released for H&S 11377(a)-Possession of a controlled substance (Cite #C423953). Winter is scheduled to appear at the Pasadena Court on 08-30-17 at 0830
