Plot: A young forerunner encounters strange new worlds as he embarks on a journey that will shape the face of the universe causing a war criminal general to escape from his bindings and once again terrorize all biological beings.

Theme: Don't go snooping around on another alien planet where a deranged war criminal is locked up.

I absolutely loved this book it creates a timeline in the halo series that explains how the events that took place in the award winning game halo 4 took place without anyone knowing
