Crusades Dbq Research Paper

The crusades was a war between the two biggest religions. Both of the religions really believed their gods, the people of the gods were told the holy land is there land, that's what Islam was told by Allah their god, the Christians believed the same thing but was told by Jesus there god. The two religions believed the holy land was theirs, that's how the crusades began. I believe the crusades were negative for the reasoning that crusades and christians have a terrible relationship.

First, I will explain how I know that the Muslims and the Christians are not friendly to each other. They both have their like in different gods.Document 6 states that the fourth crusade didn't do nothing to gain anything but cause destruction leading the Christians to dislike the Muslims more.This is important because if the crusades had not begun the Christians and the Muslims would of had a better relationship. Document 6 also states that many lives where token or lost from the fourth crusade. Document 7 states that the crusader knights often committed atrocities against Eastern Orthodox Christians, Jews, and Muslims. This is interesting because the knights are supposed to protect against attackers or intruders. Document 4 states that the Muslims destroyed its magnificent library, they also grabbed thousands of relics that were later sold in Europe. This is relevant because the library is important to the Christians also the Muslims stole their relics and sold them.There are more reasons why the crusades is negative but these are the main reasons why its
