December of 2015 me and my family went on a cruise to the Bahamas. This was our first cruise. Since it was right before Christmas we went on a short cruise. It was not as fun as I thought I'd be but I still enjoyed it. We flew down to Florida and stayed there for a couple days and then went down to the port. We took the Carnival Cruise Lines. It didn’t take very long to get to the Bahamas which was nice, I really wanted to be off the ship and explore. When we arrived, we were told to hide our valuables that was kind of scary. Me and my family spent the day at the beach and went to a restaurant. It was very hot outside compared to Minnesota. They also have very good food!! One gross thing that we saw was a rat running under a vendor. While
