Once your team is ready, run to the glowing pillar in front of you. This is known as a lamp. During the abyss section, your movement speed will gradually decrease and you will lose the ability to jump. Standing next to a lamp will remove that effect for a time. While you are running, various enemies will appear. Only stop to shoot them once you reach a lamp.
