Sam Witwicky is a “normal” teenager who is in the 11th grade. His father promised him a car as long as Sam gets an ‘A’ on his school project. When Sam gets the grade, his dad takes him to Bolivia’s Used Cars. Sam wants a 1977 Camaro with custom racing stripes, but the price of the car was too high. When Sam starts looking for other cars the Camaro lets out a high-pitched shriek which shatters the glass on all the other cars. He buys the Camaro and drives it home. One-night Sam wakes up to the sound of his car driving away
These scenes mark the time when Sam witnessed the strength of an autobot. Sam follows his car when it drives off and sees bumblebee stand up and call the other autobots to earth. This portrays the beginning of Sam’s quest, because he has found that his life

Master of the Two Worlds Seen in the narration of the closing scenes when Autobots call Earth their home, and can live out in the open without fear. Sam can also enjoy his life with the autobots. The Autobots don’t need to hide, and Sam lives a normal life.

RETURN
Freedom to Live Earth is no longer in danger, or in the fear of the Decepticons. The Shard is secure and Sam can live in the moment with Mikaela. Sam can freely pass between the autobot world and the human world. Sam will always be associated with the autobots. Sam’s presence benefits Earth.

THEME People are more than they initially appear, and they don’t realize their full potential. On the surface Sam is an average teenager, but in reality, he saved the entire world from the wrath of the Decepticons. He matures throughout the story. Epic?
