On Wednesday February 3 our class had Professor Michael Moore of Curriculum and Foundation program speak to us. Professor Moore the boss of the youth at risk programs that each and every group in the class will be fund raising for. Mr. Moore’s program is working with the Boys and Girls Club to help youth with their diets and attitudes through CrossFit training. The CrossFit training prepares the children for better health around the ages of 11-16 or 6th –9th grade students. While doing numerous different exercises for the program to help the children progress the advisors keeps track of results therefore, pretest, mid-test, and posttest are taken to view development. CrossFit goes along with the school term with the schools but 2016 is first full complete year in business. Also Professor Moore stated it is no charge for the kids from the Boys and Girls Club. Beside the objective of making the children in better shape the team want to expand through the schools for their learning to become enhanced. …show more content…
I chose to work on the event marketing team. Event marketing functions are to budgeting attempts to predict revenues and expenses for the event. Also review all activities and related cost of the event and cash flow budgeting being aware of all receipts, timing and expenditures of cash. To mention some of the group members and their jobs: C.J and Jason – Tournament Operations, Charles – Volunteer Management, Joshua and Westly – Registration, Latherreo - Event Marketing , Katrina and Malik- Finance/ Budgeting and Tyler – Risk Management. Friday February 5 as the group was having our meeting we also met our team leaders Danya Santullo and Megan Micklow. Our next group meeting is going to be Friday February
