Compared to people from my culture, people from American culture tend to consume more convenient foods, such as fast foods, frozen, or ready-to-eat foods. This has become their norm, even though sometimes they do not realize that. Moreover, some of them will regard snacks as part of their daily lives and something they must have whereas, in my culture, people will view late dinner as one of the important meals. Other than that, in my culture, we have a lot of festival foods and each of them has various meanings, which people from other cultures may not comprehend and vice versa. There are lots of local foods that some people have a strong attachment to and I am not even aware of. In terms of communication, most people in this population prefer to speak directly to the point although some people, such as people in my culture, would like to establish the rapport first. As regards the social etiquette, staring at the eyes of people is not showing good manners in my culture but doing the opposite can be offensive to the population I
