Cromford Mill Analysis

I am a British thread producer at Cromford Mill in the late 1770s during the time of the American Revolutionary War. A multitude of British soldiers stationed overseas are fighting for, and hopefully going to sustain our power over the American colonies. The prime minister is currently Frederick North, however, the majority of citizens usually refer to him as Lord North, which represents courtesy of his leadership abilities. My husband, Charlie, is in battle, leaving the children and I responsible to the extent of each one of us working our own job, and almost no family time. Although the work is potentially extremely difficult and stressful, I fully support Charlie in his decision to fight- oh, how brave he is. My job consists of operating the water frame and occasionally the spinning jenny which young people pack cotton into for me. My section of the work practice produces both woof and warp yarn-separately created on the separate machines. People use the yarn we produce from our mill to weave into various types of fabrics. Whenever the production process of the yarn reaches completion at Cromford, it is either sent directly to stores for public purchase or sent to another company who construct it as their own product of cloth or attire. Arkwright is the only reason that this mill is here, and workers here could state reasons and claims, one after the next, as to how considerably grateful they are for all he has done. Without challenging himself and taking chances on workers, he could have effortlessly chosen to not begin this company. With the war in America, and the unsteady economy, Arkwright had reason to follow that path, and go into work elsewhere.
