Crockpot Sesame Turkey
Servings: 8
Ingredients
3 lbs turkey breast tenderloins
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
4 teaspoons grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
2 tablespoons cold water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
2 tablespoons green onion, sliced
Directions
Place the turkey in a slow cooker and sprinkle with cayenne pepper and black pepper. Combine chicken broth, ginger, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic and sesame oil then pour this over the turkey in the slow cooker. Cover and cook for 5-6 hours on low or 2 ½ -3 hours on high.
