Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Certified nurse anesthetist are different in comparison to pediatric nurses. Many people may think that there is no difference between them because they are both nurses, but people do not understand that each nurse has a completely different specialty. The two types of nursing jobs have different tasks that need to be completed, different education requirements, different annual pay rates, and different benefits that come with the job, but each nursing job has similarities, including these two specialties. Education is the most important aspect for employers because a person’s education determines if they are fit for the job or not. CRNAs have to have a higher education or higher degree compared to pediatric nurses. CRNAs have to obtain their four year BSN degree or Bachelor Science of Nursing degree which makes them a Registered nurse. After they obtain their BSN degree, they will have to go on another two years to obtain their MSN or Masters of Science in nursing and specialize in Nurse Anesthetist. Nurses are the backbone in the medical field because without nurses to help care and provide for patients there really would not be a medical field. Nurses have the hardest job in the medical field because they are the people that care and assist patients with any of their needs. CRNAs have the benefits of a higher pay rate, a more laid back environment, but is a more stressful job than any other nursing specialty. Pediatric nurses do not have a great pay rate, they do not have a really stressful job, but they do have one of the most rewarding jobs working with children; thus, when deciding on which specialty would be a better choice, one must choose between a more stressful job with good pay or the job that is the most rewarding at the end of the
