Accessing the privilege of acquiring a sponsorship worth $3,000 would pose a great impact in my life.
First I would feel the excitement, but what matters here is how I would maximize the opportunity. I would explore my field of study to determine the cost. Many institutions do not freely provide substantial material to meet a professional research, and my aim is to explore my field of study in both theory as well as practical. These two sectors require a stable financial status, and now that I have the opportunity to access a $3,000, this would meet my aspirations. The sole goal for higher education is exploring and further advancing in a particular field of study depending on the choice of the student. I would assess the cost for my course

My aspiration is to become a pediatric nurse whereby I would be in a position to assist the people in need, not only those from my background or family but also from diverse backgrounds and would need assistance. I would change the perspective of the whole world in terms of the devotion as well as the interest I would show to my clients. The sole goal for higher education is exploring and further advancing in a particular field of study depending on the choice of the student. I would assess the cost for my course until completion to prioritize the activities that might be overly essential to facilitate a smooth learning. I would acknowledge the fact that $3,000 does not sound much, given the fact that the cost of higher education, especially in the US and any other developed country, remains a predicament that has not yet been solved. Therefore, I would carefully access the far that this sponsorship would take me before it is depleted. However, my choice is that I would go for the short course education preferably one or two years depending on the cost of the course and from this point, I can earn a certificate that would land me on a better job that can finance my academic

Achieving the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship would benefit my family tremendously since I am planning to go to the University of St. Thomas in Houston which is a private 4-year university meaning it will costly compare to public postsecondary institutions. Additionally, the scholarship provides a 5,000 dollar four-year renewable scholarship and it will be a great financial assistance towards my tuition to strive for Bachelor’s degree. I need this scholarship to help me fund for my attendance to college. Due to my parent’s income, I will not receive a substantial amount of financial aid because their income range is not considered to be financially need based which many scholarships look for. This question has helped shape my personal values and principles and directed my path into the nursing field. Growing up in West Africa and witnessing firsthand the sufferings and impoverishment of the people around me, I developed a sense of compassion and willingness to make a difference and help alleviate their sufferings and put a smile on their faces. Healthcare delivery and poverty are two major underlying factors in the challenges faced in Africa, thus, when I got an opportunity to come into the United States, it was my golden ticket to finally give back to the community and make a difference. This led me into the nursing field; I started out as a Certified Nurse Assistant.…

The main reason why I think that HACC is the best choice for me is because of the cost. The rates per credit are around $250 and that is for in-state residents. The total cost for a commuter would be around $13,750 for a student who is full time, which means they are taking 12 credits per term (Stager). This price of $13,750 includes the price of books, supplies, food, and transportation and it is an average price for all HACC students (HACC.edu). I think that I could easily cut some of the cost by trying to buy my books online for a cheaper price or even eating at home to save a lot of money.…

The money would be used to travel and help those that are buried deep under the basic standard of living, such as homeless citizens in the grand cities of New York and California, or even places like China and Africa where families are on the brink of survival.
