This study is qualitative. Qualitative research aims at understanding people’s experiences or feelings. This study was to determine a group of 12 women’s experience of changes in eating habits that occurred during their pregnancy. The women were interviewed and given questionaires to complete. The research is based on subjective data. This study was based on experiences and how the women felt, which is why this research study meets the criteria for being a qualitative research study.

This article is a qualitative study. This study used objective data to answer three questions concerning voice changes of people who have had a thyroidectomy. There were 2 speech pathologists that performed a pre and post-surgery voice assessment using the voice index disorder and the dysphonia severity index. The diameter of the laryngeal nerve was measured intraoperatively at the end of the surgery.
