The North Allegheny Intermediate High School counseling website is one of the most thorough counseling websites I have visited. On the North Allegheny School Counseling website my eyes are first drawn to an image that shows a group of smiling, friendly-looking adults who pose for a picture in front of a very inspiring quote on their background wall. It reads, “Simply become who you are”. I think it’s a wonderful introduction to the high school's counseling program because it encompasses so much of what a high school counselor's job is. I’m astonished that in this one high school there are five counselors. In most schools the student to counselor ratio makes it impossible to meet the needs of the entire school.
