In its filmic style as well as in the narrative action within the scissors scene, Daisies presents us with fragments that are both eloquent and surprising. The use of surrealist collage and photomontage in this film are linked by their ability to detach elements from their perpetual relations in order to connect them together in new ways. I think that this style of editing relates back to feminism because it is cut in a way that resembles the way women think; we think in a way that is very abstract and scattered, yet it all ends up making coherent sense. Daisies feminist theme is further deepened by these techniques of collage and montage. Surrealist devices presented in the movie also arguable allude to different gender categories.
