All thinking All thinking is the basis of critical thinking. Chapter 4 and 5 discusses how to dissect and understand the thinking process to better yourself at critical thinking. In chapter 4 it discusses parts of thinking, such as “reasoning”, which is when you come to a conclusion you can make sense of . “When we think we reason”. So when we are critically thinking we must take thinking apart in order to locate the problem to come to a conclusion. In chapter 5 we start to understand the standards of thinking, which is when we assess our reasoning. In chapter 4 when we take apart thinking we must look for intellectual standards to better assess to reach standards for thinking. So to improve our thinking we must use elements and standards
