What comes to mind now that the semester is over and the future of after college is getting closer and closer. Students have grown, tripped, and got back up, stressed, and became creative in some way throughout this semester. Creativity is unique to almost every individual. Creativity can be expressed in different forms such as writing, acting, personality, drawing and multiple other forms. Throughout the semester, we saw creativity through presentations and three different books. The whole class revolved around creativity and the different aspects of it.
Therefore, the real question is, does creativity really have a meaning that fits for everyone? The first image to come to mind when I picture something is creativity. Everyone may look at

I have experienced different ways of expressing creativity throughout the semester by the presentations, different books, authors, along with the journals. For not being an individual that enjoys reading, getting into the books we read was difficult. Having an open mind and creative side helped me survive all three books. I enjoyed Rafe the most, I was able to relate some of my childhood stories back to his experiences throughout the story. Rafe inspired me to get outside of my comfort zone and experience new things. He expressed how there were no shortcuts and doing your best at everything would benefit you in the end. Another author and story that stood out to me was Cordell. This one stood out to me because it was written by a female who was able to express her uniqueness through her diary entries. All three authors had their own uniqueness and creativity side. Something that really inspired me was; the Shakespeare part in Rafe. This stood out to me because the children could barely speak English but wanted to go above and beyond to read Shakespeare and be able to learn at such a high level. Another topic that inspired me was how much Rafe put into his day with his students. Every moment of his day was about his students weather it was coming in early to work with them, the school day, staying late, or field trips; his main focus was his students which I really liked. Rafe was an …show more content…
Last year this time, I was still extremely shy and barely had any friends. However, this year I have branched out and started experiencing the college life and making memories. Without creativity, I would not have been able to get outside my comfort zone and experience college the way I am now. In the future, I would like to try out activities, sports, and clubs that I never thought I would participate in or be a fit for. A big part of being creative in the future will include the way I perform my job, the house I live in and what my hobbies end up being. In the future, I plan on teaching fine motor skills in creative ways which will be unique and helpful to different age children. I think it is important to have an open mind and experience different aspects of teaching, there are many types of learning which is why, flexibility and creativity, is important in all job positions. Everyone is their own individual which makes them creative in some type of

1.Out of the required readings for this class, I really enjoyed the summer reading of Slaughterhouse-Five. Particularly I liked how Kurt Vonnegut wrote each chapter during a different time period because the main character, Billy, was “unstuck in time”. I just overall loved the story line and the satirical message Vonnegut was conveying about war and violence. 2.I believe the best piece of work I did in your class was the Most Influential Person essay on Ashlyn Harris. Out of all of the essays we were forced to write all year, this one in particular allowed me to express why Ashlyn Harris is so important to me.…

The readings that were assigned throughout the semester covered a multitude of topics. The topics covered included education and school, gender, media, and globalization. The readings that I most enjoyed were the first ones assigned which included “A Question of Honor”, “Plagiarism Lines Blur for Students in Digital Age”, and “The Myth of Inferiority”. The reason why these readings interested me the most was because they fell under my favorite topic of education. Education is one of the subjects I find the most interesting.…

Creativity has been with the human race since the beginning of time, from designing complex infrastructures, to developing the first rocket to ever reach outer space. Creativity has lead to many of the most influential practices and ideas, and has inspired countless of other individual to think creatively. Although creativity may still be present today, it continues to fight a battle of extinction where creativity is bound to lose. In the first perspective it explains that you, as a person should focus on self improvement and become more self reliant. I honestly think as an opinion you would need to keep boosting people's spirits instead of being self centered because you don't want to make them feel good. Everyone has their own traits, personality, and characteristics, but if you don't care about other people, it shows you that you are careless about the good people on this earth. A strength of the first perspective is that you can get things accomplished and succeed in goals in your lifetime.…

I am fully aware that being creative is a vital skill when it comes to being a strong writer. Unfortunately, I am going to conclude this quarter by doing what I have been all year, and that is answering the prompt. I guess it is safe to say that I’m putting a touch of creativity by not being creative at all. I am going to treat this essay as a cool down lap after a full on sprint of a quarter. My goal is to exhibit my growth as a writer by taking a more informal approach towards the prompts that were given.…

The first principle of the gospel of Jesus Christ is faith (4th Article of Faith). Faith, by definition, is something that is hoped for, yet not seen. Can doubt exist alongside faith, or is it something that is required to gain faith? When questioning which church was the right church to join, Joseph Smith had doubts that prompted him to ask some hard questions (Joseph Smith History 1:10). Through his doubts he was able to find the answers to his questions that led to the restoration of the gospel in these latter-days.…

Creativity, an essential skill that can simultaneously help advance the world and communicate different perceptions of an idea, has gradually declined since 1990. Original ideas are vital when it comes to problem solving, technological advancements, communication, and much more. If the public worldwide stops creating new ideas, the world will experience a plateau rather than growth in development. In order to boost creativity in the population, it is best to start at the foundation of all skills, school. Supported by a scientific study and personal experience, creative thinking should be taught in school, because without explicit practice of thinking creatively, the mind begins to lose that skill.…

At the beginning of the semester, I viewed myself as a creative writer. After attending this class I realized that there is a lot more that goes into writing an essay, or a research paper, than just creativity alone. I have learned that it is very important to be aware of my strengths and weaknesses in my writing. Taking this class has helped me understand the strengths and weaknesses in my writing skills, and it has given me the opportunity to strengthen the areas in which I was weak. An example of this is that I have become aware of my grammar and spelling errors as the semester progressed.…

Even within Math and Science, creativity is required in order to grow and move forward. New ideas have to be created for the world to evolve, but with the stifling of creativity, and the creation of a school system where making mistakes can cost students grades, college admissions, and ultimately their future, putting new ideas out into the open can be intimidating. This renders the education system counterproductive and creates leaders and innovators who succeed despite the structure of their education system instead of because of it. Creativity is a defining trait of civilization and should not be…

Significance. This research study focuses primarily on the seemingly allusive concept of creativity. Creativity is often defined in terms of products. An idea can not be considered creative unless it shows an observable outcome, in other words, a practical creation (Plucker & Lim, 2001). These outcomes must be easily measured and consistently serve the same practical purpose (Plucker & Lim, 2001).…
