I want to think that positive thoughts bring positive things which at the end, I believe, will play an important part on how we feel, think or conduct ourselves. Therefore, if it is easy to understand that our state of mind will produce a specific behavior because emotions produce reactions. Also, it is important to be aware that normally these reactions can be observed or perceive by others not only by words but through our expressions of verbal and no verbal communication like a smile or head nodding. Consequentially, this upcoming clinical rotation seems like a great opportunity to become more familiar about mental illness and hopefully be able to get a better understanding of what it is and how it affects people’s life which will aid me at the time of caring for patients. I look forward to gain a better understanding of how metal illness affect the life of so many people and hopefully learn how to aid and assist patients diagnosed and not diagnose of suffering from mental illness. I perceive it like opening a door to a new room so I can learn from it and hopefully get a hand of how mental illness affects many people
