Yes, I agree that for the best possible outcome it is important to have experience and gain additional knowledge through education. Nursing is always going to be a profession where you continue to learn new things every day. I feel like becoming more educated is always the best way to go. In addition, developing a stronger level of critical thinking is vital to improving patient care, which I feel, is better achieved with a foundation as a BSN prepared nurse. Nurses sometimes have to be able to look at a patient’s condition and make quick decisions that can mean the life or death. Therefore, I believe that continuing your education where your critical thinking skills are broadened would be vital to becoming the best possible care giver.
