1.The argument that power must be evil is wrongfully based on the assumption that it only related to corruption in a particular environment. I will argue against the premise the power is evil in and of itself, which will be reinforced by the wrongful use of the word as it is related to the concept of evil. The truth of this argument is based on the definition placed on the “power” as a term for something that is evil. For example, it may be fashionable to use the term “power’ as a way to describe evil, but power can also be “good” if it is not abused for selfish reasons. In this manner, the credit card company is only providing a lending tool, which makes it possible for responsible users to purchase products if they do not have the immediate funds to pay for these items. If the customer spends too much, it is not the fault of the company that is only providing a financial service. Also, valid credit card companies also ensure that credit cards are given to clients that have the financial means in which to pay down their purchases at the end of the month. Credit card companies have ethical guidelines that typically do not allow people without the finds to receive or use a credit card. The one validity error for this argument is linked with credit cards companies that give credit cards to people that do not have the available funds in their bank account to pay down monthly statements. More so, the credit card is exploiting high interest rates that put the individual into deeper debt. This is an unethical form of business that should not be allowed by credit card companies as form of predatory lending. In America, there are 3.2 million handgun owners that have registered under the National Firearms Act. In fact, many of the crimes against people related to hand gun violence is primarily restricted to unlawful or unregistered guns that are used in criminal scenarios. Therefore, the gun itself is not the problem, but the ways in which the individual can use this weapon for harm. In this first part of this argument , the registered firearm users are typically a responsible person that does not break the law.
