Critical Self Analysis Essay
Introduction
The rapid rate of technological development has changed the social condition and daily lives of people in many aspects and to large extent. The amounts of people who rely on the social media also have gained the increasing at the same time (Adams, 2012). The main aim of this essay is to make critical self analysis of the application of Weibo. The analysis will be achieved through making comparison with person who has used Weibo since 2000. At the end of this essay, the conclusion will be provided to list the main points and findings.

Main body
The social media tools are in main role in daily lives of people in the whole society at present. According to the survey conducted by Gay and Pryke (2012), the amounts of users of social media tools have gained the rate of increasing of around 5% every year and this rate can still achieve the improvement in the future. Through the process of making interview with the man who has used Weibo for long period of time, I have found that the situation of Weibo application in the past is different. The function of Weibo using in the past is limited and the main function that can be enjoyed by the users is to make collection of the information. What’s more, the information is not too overall and latest. Being affected by this, the users of Weibo in the past can not understand the social condition well enough and are also unable to enjoy the discount and the high right of social issue participation.

Conclusion
The main aim and theme of this essay is to make self critical analysis of the application of Weibo. The main finding is that comparing to the past application, the present application of Weibo is diversified and different generally. Thus, the conclusion is that technology has benefited and changed the social condition and lives of people
