To my old self, when I started this class, I had no ideal of writing for others I usually wrote with the mindset that if I can read and understand it others should too. But latter that I know that that’s not the case. I used to write without an audience in mind but now I do. I can choose who I am writing for and what purpose I am writing. For example, if I am writing for healthcare professionals I will use terms that they know exactly and understand what I am talking about. I will use terms like DOA (die on arriver) or vital signs. compared to if I am writing for business professionals I will use terms like account payable (AP) or assets. I learned to do this when I wrote about my discourse community.
I have read work from writers but never thought about analyzing multiple tests, variety produced for multiple purposes. I can now read and analyze various work from more than one author I can tell where

During that week, I learned how credible and reliable a source is. Significance and contribution of the author to the field, his Argument and use of evidence to the topic. I learned how to summaries and evaluate a text or more than one text so that I can present a fair and reasonable evaluation or judgement of the selected text. During this time in the semester, I understood the strengths and weaknesses of a text purpose, the intended audience and why it is structured the way it is.
The peer review section of the class was very useful, I got to see things from different peoples view and they got to see mine. I learned from the constructive feedback my classmates give me on the choose of words for a particle assignment. when I was doing my narrative essay. I also learned from the Instructor comments. During the narrative essay assignment, my focus was on me and not what I have experience as a writer or during my writing press before this
