To understand better Popper’s theory I separated the words and looked at their different meaning. CRITICAL-judgements, criticism of something, RATIONALISM-the view that regards reason as chief source and test of knowledge, when this words are combined they mean criticism of knowledge. () explains the background of critical rationalism, he explains that this theory is described better in Karl Popper’s book called The Open Society and its Enemies. Popper use this abbreviation for critical rationalism (CR). CR is an approach of holding on a person’s ideas that are open to critical discussion, being open to suggestions and improvements or corrections that needs to be made. Second characteristic preserves that the activities begins from the recognition of the attempt to solve intellectual problems. The third one distinguishes between the three worlds of knowledges and their conceptual vocabularies. Lastly it is the theoretical analysis of CR is nomalist.
