The unit is spread over an area of 6300 metre square along with separate administrative and manufacturing units. There work includes following processes such as:
• Casting – Casting is a manufacturing process in which a mould is formed of a desired shape, then molten metal or any liquid material is poured into it and then as the metal solidifies it comes into the desired shape, in other words, a metal casting is created. Though this process seems to be very simple, it is both a science and an art. It is one of the oldest manufacturing process used in the industry and also one of the cheapest and direct way of producing various mechanical parts.
• Designing – Designing is a practice for general engineering for designing products so that they are easy to manufacture. This process is usually meant for reducing manufacturing costs. DFM helps out in such a way that it fixes all the potential problems which turns out to be least expensive for the manufacturing firm.
• Forging – Forging process is very important part in manufacturing of metal in the industry. It involves shaping of material using compressive forces. Forging is usually classified by the temperature at which it is treated. For

800 °C. Therefore, most of the Metal processes sustainability advantages and disadvantages will apply here. Evaluation of which process should be used While there is only 2 processes for Ceramic's, in my opinion the Injection Moulding would be more beneficial. The main reason I have chosen this over Powder Metallurgy, is that the Injection Moulding process offers a far higher hardness strength than the Powder Metallurgy version. This would be an excellent feature for us, as we do not want the product to wear down too soon after it has been installed.…

Fabrication techniques with raw materials involve lathing, welding, grinding milling, broaching, and honing. “Before starting a metal fabrication process, it is very helpful to know what kind of materials are available and appropriate for the task at hand” (Hyde). Casting is a fabrication process that has been used for over 6,000 years. Casting involves forcing liquid metal into molds and letting it cool and harden into the desired shape the blueprints instruct. Melting metal into a liquid is an ideal choice for structures that require complex geometries.…

Like few tens to a few hundreds of briquettes – depending on the ingot size. The VAR process ingot production flow is shown in this flow chart. The primary electrode of titanium is connected to the cathode of the furnace. It is melted by the direct current arc produced between the water cooled copper crucible (which is connected to the anode of the furnace) and primary electrode (which is connected to the anode of the furnace). Molten titanium is solidified in layers in the water cooled copper crucible to form an ingot.…

Some of them are briefly discussed below: • Low cost: The fabrication procedures involved in the Vacuum assisted resin infusion process use relatively low cost equipment for the quality of composite manufactured. • High performance light weight laminates manufactured through this process are comparable to other more expensive manufacturing methods such as Autoclave. • Ability of the reinforcements to be handled in dry state leading to reduced exposure to resin. The laminators are thus in less risk of catching any allergic reactions to such type of resins. • Minimal exposure of the resin to outside atmosphere significantly reduces harm to health of associated workforce.…

All of this together supports the fact that it is the least damaging of all mass producing methods. As it was said from the start, this was not an attempt to say that there are no issues with fracking. This has, however, shown the fact that fracking is the most efficient by being able to produce such large amounts of Natural Gas very quickly from one location. The point made that compared to other mass energy producing methods, fracking is the cleanest. Lastly it was also proven that it is least damaging due to only leaving fractures in the ground and minimal surface damages.…
