There are number of research study out there and not all studies are created equally. There are many scientific research studies conclude results that is contradict to each other and which potentially leads to detrimental harm on health care system. An evaluation of research study is a process of assessing study’s strength and weakness, exclusion and inclusion criteria, purpose of study, methods, results, limitation, study’s internal and external validity, and analysis of overall research study. The importance of critical evaluation research study is to enable the health care professionals to read research studies objectively and to identify; study design and methodology, strengths and weaknesses, the usefulness of study report, and its limitations.
