Life is important, that is why the thought of it ending, or terminated is despised upon. And because of that, many people developed a coping mechanism to deal with the fact that death is unavoidable. The most popular way of coping with death is the belief of afterlife. From Christianity to Islam to Hindu to the Jewish religion.
