In reading my selected article, “Me Talk Pretty One Day”, I believe my audience for my critical analysis essay will be students, specifically older students. This refers to students who are returning to school later in life as opposed to those who are in their early twenties attending right after high school. I consider myself an older student and therefore, can relate to the audience, which is the reason I believe they will benefit from my analysis. I also believe another part of the audience could be people entering a new phase in life. This article can provide steps that guide groups through difficult situations and help show them there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
