Thomas L. Friedman’s article “How to Get a Job at Google?” the title of this article can describe how much effort you have to put for better jobs. Google is a biggest company in the world. It has social networking, Gmail, blogger getting a job in this company; people might think you need a higher lever degree or good GPA. Well after reading this article it pointed out that a high GPA or scores are worthless as a criteria hiring. Thomas L. Friedman, interviewed Laszlo Bock, the senior vice president of people operations for Google he does the hiring process. In interview he mentioned that Google has five hiring attributes and they are very strike with those rules. If you need the professional job right after college, it is not only about a major and a GPA. It’s more important for students to establish they have an eagerness to learn and they have grown actual skills and qualities. At this point many people want to know what is actual attributes are first is general cognitive ability they do not care about I.Q its about learning ability. The second is leadership it’s about how you face the problems. The third is Humility and ownership the person who try to solve the problems and give out good ideas. And if you failed to lead good learn the lesson and try next time. The fourth is Fundamental attribution person who solves the error the person who controls the resource and the last is humble stay claim. The very interesting point I analysis ““when you look at people who don’t go to school and make their way in the world, those are exceptional human beings. Google company get attracts with talented people, and author mentioned that if you go to college try to master the tools for being successful. The author he also stated that the degree is not a proxy for your ability to do any job, the companies will be only care what you learned. In some point in your life you have to use sharp skills such as leadership, humility, collaboration, adaptability and loving to learn and these skill apply everywhere no matter where you go to
