The Boston Massacre On March 5, 1770 in front of the old state house in Boston Massachusetts a street fight happened between the British troops and the patriots because the Boston men lost their jobs and blamed the British. A street fight broke between the Boston man and the British troops. The British were the first ones to fire. Everyone goes crazy after that. When the British fired they killed a guy named Crispus Attucks. Crispus Attucks was the first person to be shot. Attucks was African American and when he got shot he died instantly. His death was a very big deal because of those reasons. The Boston side had not actual weapons so they just threw things they had around them.
