This assignment requires students to complete a worksheet provided by the instructor, reflecting on the following topics: their worst case scenarios, trigger events, and safety plan. In this paper, I included three different crisis scenarios that are considered to be the worst case scenarios I can imagine needing to professionally manage. The first, is working with children who are or were sexual abused. I work with children at the college church and I also help out for Youth for Christ. I love working with children and I believe it would be devastating for me if anything happened to those children. The first pet peeves or prejudices, is when I feel left out in a situation. When I experience being left out in a situation, it makes me feel lonely, sad, and unappreciated. The reason it exist is because I believe it is not a situation I want to be in or anyone else wants to be in. How I typically respond when I am triggered is praying to God, reading my Bible, or talking to my mom. The second pet peeves or prejudices, is when people are wasting time. The reason I think it exist is because I like being in control in situations. When I waiting for someone, I am constantly thinking about things I could be doing at that specific time instead of waiting around for others. How I typically respond when I am triggered is praying to God, taking a deep breath and remembering that everything happens for a reason. The third second pet peeves or prejudices, is when you are putting energy into a relationship and the person is not returning the same energy. The reason I think it exist is because it has happened to me in the past when you are putting all this energy into a relationship and it is not returned. It makes you feel like you failed because the person not returning your same energy back. How I typically respond when I am trigged is pray to God for this person, ended the relationship, and pray for that
