Matthew 7:13,14 Every day God's salvation draws nearer, which means we must be more diligent and persevering in our walk with the Him. We do not have the "luxury of time" to be consumed, preoccupied, or even fatigued in our day-to-day responsibilities that we become distracted to what God wants to accomplish in each of our lives and in His church! During the next phase of operations to manage the situation, a communication was established with liaisons from various organizations to the EPA, CDC, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Establishing vast network of communication, not only among the citizens, but within the organizations themselves, allowed for informational awareness of the current state of the anthrax attack available to the public and it allowed for these organizations to work more closely together in stopping the spread of anthrax. Continued efforts to combat anthrax became an expensive ordeal’ exceeding the original estimate $200 million for advanced technology of the detection of anthrax, cleanup equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE), and communications. There were, of course, complications that arose which continued the spread of anthrax and measures that were established to handle something like this at the USPS level was well beyond the control of the USPS because it is considered an independent…

Good morning/good afternoon ladies and gentlemen of the jury. Aldous Huxley, the author of the futuristic dystopian novel “Brave New World” is innocent in rightfully challenging the idea of a modern utopia. He invites the reader to challenge the ideal society as his writing is a cautionary tale and a warning to people that humanity may transform from being free independent people to slaves to our own greediness and society. “Brave New World” is a disturbing, loveless world and Huxley shows this through his writing, tapping into themes such as eugenics, behavioral conditioning, the use of advanced technology to control an entire society and showing an extreme but honest version of today’s economic standards. Huxley doesn’t mean to say that people would be happier if they were all genetically modified, nor…

Throughout the Confessions, Augustine recounts his character’s spiritual journey with God. This journey is a metaphorical journey in the sense that Augustine the character is always with God, but he does not know this until he gains the knowledge that gives him stability in God. On this journey, Augustine either intensely weeps or does not weep over several cases of separation. All of the separations observed are worldly separations in that one person has died and will no longer be present physically in the others’ life. Both the weeping and absence of weeping are problematic in Augustine’s spiritual journey.…

After reviewing my persuasive speech over why the University of Oklahoma is the best university in the nation, I would sum up my speech as a little bit of train wreck. Although I made good claims with factual evidence, the amount of stuttering I did, and all the times I was choked up throughout the speech drew my audience’s attention away. From this, I lost my audience’s belief that I was competent of the information I was reiterating to them. At the introduction of my speech I believe I started out fairly strong and gave a good run down of the coming speech.…
