The return of the crippled hair The sun was calmly coming up from the horizon, to the east. It had been a couple weeks since the Whites incident. The day was looking to be a good one. William Chesterford got up from his slumber. William got out of bed and got into the shower, as he would usually do. When Will got out of the shower he got changed for the day, he put on a pair of slacks and a nice button up shirt for his day out. William decided he was hungry, he went to his refrigerator, and so he pulled out some ham, eggs, butter, and bread. William had a good breakfast, he said to himself,” It looks like a nice day to go out and see what the world is like today.” William went outside, he smelled the air, and saw it was sunny outside and …show more content…
Will was on his way to leave but, in the corner of his eye he saw something strange. He went over to it and picked it up, William had never seen anything like it. The thing he was holding in his hand seemed to be a small hairy hand, the object had intrigued William so he called out for Tom White to come over. “Hey tom I saw this hand and, I was wondering how much it is for sale for?” said William, staring at the hand in his hand. “Oh… I don’t think you would want that monkey paw,” Tom said, stuttering a little. “It looks very interesting but, why would I not want that monkey paw?” said William, with a confused look on his face. “I really shouldn’t tell you about it, that thing has brought me and many people before me a lot of pain,” said Tom, his face was white and sickened. “Are you sure you wouldn’t consider making an offer I will pay you 100 pounds for that paw!” William said, with an excited voice. Tom went over to his wife, they started to talk and looked concerned. After what seemed like 10 minutes Tom came over, he told Will that his wife wouldn’t want anything more then to get that thing away from her. “Will I must warn you before you take the paw home with you,” said Tom, with a long …show more content…
“We know you are the famous serial killer William Chesterford, you have nowhere to go,” said the second officer who was the deputy. William was confused, he panicked and ran for the exit at the back of the store, all three officers ran after him. William barely made it through the exit in time to escape, as soon as William went out that door he sprinted for home. He got home in less than five minutes, when he went through his front door William loudly said,” I wish for all of the police in this City to disappear!” William waited for two hours before he decided he should go outside and see if his wish came true. He was hoping with all his might his wish came true. As William walked outside he could not believe what he was seeing, everything was ciaos. Buildings were on fire people were shooting at each other, some people were breaking into homes. William looked around and found a newspaper on the floor with the head line reading, “Ciaos is everywhere with our lack of Police no one can stop crime from happening EVACUATE IMIDIATLTY!” Terrified William fell to the ground taking in all the trouble he had
