Florida State (1-0) – After a dismal first half that resulted in a 22 point deficit, the Seminoles scored 33 unanswered points behind redshirt freshman Deondre Francois’ coming out party. The quarterback completed 33-of-52 passes for 419 yards and two touchdowns. Francois was impressive with his pocket presence and internal timing as well as his toughness. Francois was hit hard multiple times but continued to stay in the pocket and complete big time passes. Running back and Heisman hopeful Dalvin Cook finished with 91 rushing yards rushing on 23 carries, but his biggest impact came in the passing game as he hauled in seven receptions for 101 yards.
