Criminology Classes

Decent Essays
I have taken a lot of criminology classes since being at UWG. I enjoy criminology so much I took criminology classes even before I finished my core classes. I am not sure of the correct class name but, I learned about senior citizens being addicted to different types of pain medications and alcohol. I cannot relate to the addiction but, I could understand some of the reasons this was happening. The class was not only about people over sixty-five but, seeing that I fall in that range it became important to me. My children are all grown and on their own, my husband is deceased so I am alone most of the time. In that class I learned that a lot of the people were lonely over anything else. Some of them were not really sick, they were still active.

Developmental and life-course criminology are both worried with the study of changes in criminal and unruly manners over time. Although these two theoretical methods share some mutual features, they also differ in the concepts that they deem to be of focal concern.
