Criminal Justice Management Case Study

It is the intention of this paper to examine the relationships between management within the criminal justice fields and that of the actual employees that comprise members of law enforcement. Often the perception of the general public is that management and that of the law enforcement members is synonymous and interchangeable with one another and that there is no real distinction between the two, however one must take into consideration that even though the simulates that both sections exists in the criminal justice vocation they both have separate functions much like any other job. It is the hope that the subsequent information given from within the following text can be used to shed some light into the complexities that are unique to both the human resources and management components of the criminal justice fields (Shane, 2010). The subsequent sections of this paper will primarily delve into the areas of administration of law enforcement personnel and this particular form of job that makes it unique to that of other types of employment.
