Every country has their defect and their strong abilities in certain section and Mexico for being one of the largest countries in Central America has a unique criminal justice system in some good ways and in some bad.

There are many corrupt cops in Mexico and they are controlled by the cartels the cartels threatened police officer to join them and just in general the drug war is what causes this to happen(Ginger Thompson, July 5,2005). Then the training for the policies are poor and for the preventive police most do not need minimum educational requirement. Basic training lasts an average of 4.5 months.
