But before Julie could finish, Nicole told her she was going to stay at her friend's house because Mr Poe and her were going to investigate a crime scene.
“Mr Poe, Mr Poe over here!” called out Jones. This got Mr Poe’s and Nicole’s attention. As they both were walking over, Jones was explaining what had happened. He took out his notepad and started to read off of it.
“Victim’s name Daniel Emmerson, 6’4, uhh, worked here at the mall,” said the Lieutenant as he was pointing at the Manhattan Mall”s doors, “was a mall Santa...”
While Lieutenant Jones was continuing to describe the victim, Mr Poe was looking around, pacing back and forth through the crime scene.
Lieutenant Jones paused and with a puzzled look on his face stared at Poe. He then continued to read his notes, “he… was killed at 12:08 p.m.

“Yes I did Captain.” answered the lieutenant, confidence in his voice.
Mr Poe was still looking around. “Can you show me where he was assigned?” The Lieutenant answered, “sure thing, right this way.”
After they walked down the the main hall, and took a right turn at the Foot locker store, there were police and police tape everywhere. Two policemen were talking to a man who seemed trembling afraid of anything and anyone.
Mr Poe was walking over to the green and white embroidered chair, limboing all of the police tapes. The chair was surrounded by red and white decorations and two christmas trees one on the left and one on the right of it. Mr Poe sat on the chair, pretending he was the mall santa. He picked at the white fluffy ornaments off one of the trees and placed it on his face. Lieutenant Jones looked up off of his notes to look at Mr Poe and what he was doing. He looked back down to his notes and realized what Mr Poe was doing something wrong, “Mr Poe that evidence, what do you think you’re do-” he was cut off by the Captain. “Relax Jones, he knows what he’s doing.” the Captain assured the
