Crime and punishments back in Victorian Britain time are very similar to the time now for example, people committed rape, murder, stealing, and etc. The way they would get punished is prisons and court/ judge. Children during that time period could steal during any age like a kid commit rape and murder, only the police can’t do anything about they just have to move on like normal people and it’s kind of messed up. Today you can’t steal or rape or etc. and get away with it though. It’s kind of for the best though, because if our world had kids running around committing crime it would be utter chaos. Anything included of murder, armed robbery, burglary, larceny, fraud, rape, and significant violations of public order was punishable, for everyone except children meaning children could do anything and get away with
