The most famous literary criminal, Shakespeare, is still at large. He has now stolen from the Holy Grail of all literature: the Bible. The victim was Genesis 3, brought back in Macbeth’s face. These two stories revolve around greed and the original sin; they also present a brilliant show of murder and betrayal, with a great host of characters. That show will never die, forever given a standing ovation throughout the generations. When committing this literary crime, many people were involved. Of Genesis 3, we have Adam, Eve, and the Snake; Macbeth’s counterparts are Macbeth, Macduff, and Malcolm. Now to know how they compare.
