A huge setback for President Obama concerning crime control policy is initially he never took a hardened stance on the matter. Unfortunately, many of his proposals for reform were reactive in nature and those who opposed him from the onset only used his delayed response to strengthen the argument his crime control measures were in fact weak. The voters of America want to feel safe and secure, if a presidential candidate is not promoting such a feeling, the momentum to build that required support during presidency will suffer.
