The suspect threatened to hit the victim with a 4-Way lug wrench and a piece of plywood. The suspect then threw a large rock at the victim 's living room window as the victim stood in front of it all in violation of PC 245(a)(1)-Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
LOCATION DESCRIPTION:
The location is a two story apartment complex located on the southwest corner of Orange Grove Boulevard and Cypress Avenue. The victim’s living room window is on the east side of the residence and faces east. There is a parking area on the south side of the apartment building where the victim was working on his car. An automatic sliding gate was kept open with a piece of plywood (blocking a sensor).

Front window approximately 4’X 3’ in dimension, worth approximately $350.00.

On 01-12-16 at 1702 hours, Officer Cass #2067 and I responded to 642 N. Orange Grove Bl. #1 for a PC 245(a)(1)-Assault with a Deadly Weapon investigation. Officer Marin # 5450 and Officer Poirier #7081 responded to assist.

Medina works at the Prestige Body Shop and Tire Service located at 715 N. Orange Grove Boulevard as a mechanic. Medina reportedly was parking a customer’s vehicle along the east curb line of Cypress Avenue. Medina was approached by Vaughns who asked him to repair his vehicle. Medina saw that Vaughns was holding an infant child. Medina looked under the front hood of Vaughns’ vehicle and saw that it was overheating.
