Crib To Toddler Bed

Improved Essays
The transition from crib to bed can be made easier by choosing the right bed for your child. Also, if you use the same mattress and the same bedding that your child is accustomed to your crib, the transition to a toddler bed will be easier. Here are some tips:
• Make sure the bed is firm and not in danger of collapsing. Periodically, check joints, especially if your child jumps in your bed or is using a metal-frame bed, where the screws are more likely to loosen.
• Choose a toddler bed that is low to the ground. It is easier for your child to enter, and, in case of falling, the distance to the floor is not large and the chances of injury are thin. Place a rug or other filler along the side and the open end of the bed for greater protection

The younger children's grades are located on the ground floor which is easier then having a young child walk up the stairs multiple times every day to reach the library, cafeteria, or classroom.…

Therefore, I continue to support that any environment is good, as long as either the caregivers or the family in charge of the ECE are doing their respective part for the benefit of the infant or toddler.…

I think co-sleeping can be an exception to an extent, for example, if my child is sick or is not feeling feel. I wouldn't mind having them sleep in bed with me but once they fall asleep, I would transfer them into their own bed/ own room. Co-sleeping is not influenced by my cultural background but since we used to live in a two bedroom apartment; when my little brother was born, he would share a room with my parents. He had his own crib and has he got older they got him a normal bed.…
