Creon found out about Antigone burying her brother. Haimon and him were arguing about it since Haimon thought she should not be punished. Creon was so upset because of her going against the law. He said, “I will carry her far away out there in the wilderness, and lock her living in a vault of stone..” (Scene 3). Creon was ashamed with what Antigone did and he thought she deserved to spend the rest of her life alone in a cell. Antigone and her family had good fortune, but because of Polyneices dying and Antigone burying him the fortune changed and Antigone going against the law. The other example is when Haimon said “Then she must die-but her death will cause another” (Scene 3). I think Haimon meant that if Antigone dies, then something bad will happen again because of the reverse of fortune. Also Ismene could become really depressed since no one in her family will be alive and she could kill herself. Than no one would be alive in their family
