Creon and his power struggles with the Crown In Greek mythology, Antigone by Sophocles there was two leading characters Creon and Antigone. Creon was a king of Thebes, he was a tyrant who likes to enforce his laws on people. On the other and Antigone was the daughter and sister of Oedipus. A tragic hero is a character with noble and heroic qualities, who obligates an action and make a mistake which him/her downfall or destruction. In Antigone Creon demonstrated as a tragic hero in this play, he believes that he can’t be wrong ever. His stubbornness and hubris make him failing at the end of the play. At first Sophocles explains that Creon is just a leader, who manage laws and punishments very well. But he fails because of he didn’t thought …show more content…
As Tiresias explains him that he is doing wrong, he didn’t feel bad or guilty over his mistakes. In all different religions that different people are practicing in worldwide, have believe that there is god or gods ruling above them. Like most popular religion Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Hinduism. In all these religions people, they believe on god and gods. In Islam, Muslims believe that there is one only god (Allah). Who made us and made all this world in seven days. Muslims use their holy book Quran to follow their life, because that holy book is written by Allah and it revealed on Prophet Mohmand (PBUH). This holy book guide Muslims how to survive their life. In Quran Allah have explains and teach his followers how every single action they made is in Quran, like getting married, and buying house. In Quran Allah have explain how Muslim girl and boy should get married. Moreover, taking interest or giving on anything you buy is not allowed in Islam. Eating pork and drinking Alcohol is not allowed also. Allah have explains all these by telling prophet stories in Quran in which it describes the cause and effect of all those that are prohibited. In Quran it describes about Pharaoh who believe that he is god and he has all power, even his wife was Muslim and she prayed for him that he comes on right path but he thinks no one can destroy him. “We recite to you some of the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth, for a people who believe. Verily, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them; killing their sons, and letting their females live.
