The play Antigone is a tragic play with emotion and death. In the beginning the two brothers of Antigone fought each other for the throne. Creon became king and said that one of the brothers was not to be buried. Antigone the sister of the two brothers did not accept that and disobeyed Creon. Creon sends her away thinking his son wouldn 't kill himself but at the end he ends up loosing.

“Don 't you know that no one faced with death would ever stop the singing and the groans, if that would help? Take her and shut her up, as i have ordered, in her tombs embrace. And get it done as quickly as you can. Then leave her there alone, all by herself-she can sort out whether she wants suicide or remains alive, buried in a place like that. As far as she 's concerned, we bear no guilt.” Since the people of Thebes think that Antigone did a brave thing by burying her brother they would disagree with Creon and would go against him if he kills her so Creon is going to bury her alive in a cave and out a rock in front of it. He tell the chorus and the people that if the Gods really appreciate what she did then the gods will save her if not she will die and he blames it on the gods meaning that the gods wanted her to die.Creon is pretty smart in doing that because he practically didn 't kill her but will let her starve to death put he tricks the people given a good reason in leaving her in there since they and Antigone trust the gods. Like any human being we all have our own defections. Creon throughout the play is seen as a tragic hero. He is stubborn selfish and hard headed, He doesn 't like listening to anyone and he thinks that he is always right. Yet he is a cloud king in some ways and is seen as hero. I personally once was told by my parents not have friends that would bring bad things to be and influence in a way that would distract ,me from school and from obeying them. And I didn 't listen to them thinking that they didn 't want me to have friends but they were right, I ended up doing things I told myself I would NEVER do and lost track from school, church and disobeyed my parents, I was stubborn like Creon thinking everything I did was right and did listen for
