In the TED talk, David Kelley mentions how the greatest blocker of creativeness, is the persons fear that their idea will be shot down. We want our employees to not be fearful in sharing their ideas, as every idea will be welcomed with positivity. This meeting will have an optimistic tone to it, and will allow for employees to feel like they wont be judged for the idea they have thought of. As Amy Poehler said in her profile, “You have to listen and stay in the moment. You have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable". Our employees may be uncomfortable in sharing their ideas with others, but this is how the best ideas will come out. Having a meeting in which all of the employees are required to share an idea, the employees may not feel as my pressure in coming up with an idea that is not necessarily praised. Charles Arntzen also says “That the dominant part of basic research is failure”. I believe that even if an employees ideas are not implemented into the organization, they will work harder knowing that with each failure, they are closer to thinking of an idea that will be accepted and help shape the
