Creativity is the spark that ignites the flame of inspiration in our minds. It is what governs our very existence in this world; creativity is the foundation of our unique world. Ingenuity guides our way of thinking, the way we live our lives, and the way we envision our lives in the future. Through creativity one can develop a piece of writing, compose an inspirational piece of music, design an invention to make society 's life simpler or creating a piece of artwork revealing one’s sympathy and emotion. The limits of creativity are endless, with infinite ways of expressing one’s self. Each and every individual has his or her own unique, one-of-a-kind perception of creativity. A specific part of this definition that is not reinstated in America is the idea that learning will formulate the mentality. The only mentality young adults will conceive is obedience and conformity. The definition of education incorporates an expansive variety of learning topics, one of which, is creativity. There are several factors of education that have limited creativity in today’s education system. Our lives have been greatly affected by creativity, by inspiring us to express ourselves in a way that no one else can. But as future generations are living on, we are witnessing a creativity crisis before our very eyes. It is not just the creativity that has significance, it is the person that we could or could not have become while creating. Statistics show that in order for a person to apply their creativity to their everyday lives, they must first understand their creativity as a child. Once we stop recognizing a child’s creativity, there is no going back until we take action now. For instance, how would the success of a person with a Medical Degree compare with that of a person with a Masters Degree of Fine Arts? Countless would say that the individual with a Medical Degree would have a greater intelligence than the latter individual. Our education system applaudes those individuals that embrace a career with a science, math, or teaching correlation, but does not acknowledge those with artistic or imaginative intelligence. Math, science, language arts, and history are required classes in school and are recognized as “useful” in the life of an adult. Classes that explore a students’ creativity are not deemed as important, and are consistently undermined in our society. Even learning a foreign language is innumerably recognized in our world’s schooling system compared to the arts because of the ability to communicate to others. Why not add music and art classes to the education requirement? As a result of these factors, creativity is slaughtered in the minds of many younger generations. Our world needs to recognize both intelligences equally, both for their contributions to our society. We have yet to revolutionize our way of thinking. The specific aspect of our society that influences our impotence to create our education system. What would a world without creativity look like? Without creativity, we would not have books to stimulate our thinking, music to connect and interpret with, and
