This dependency is categorized as a fixed-mindset thinking. Hence, when working after graduation, students will require orders and not the ability to act responsibly by themselves. Though a survey from 2005, National Association of Manufacturers stated “Survey after survey, employers express disappointment in the skills of high school graduates. For example, in 2005, 60 percent of U.S. manufacturing companies surveyed said that high school graduates were poorly prepared for entry-level jobs”. This means that what school is teaching to students is not preparing students for the future of workplace ethics, but for an expectation created by the ethic of the past. Though, most problems in a life after education requires life skills like: how you to have acquired the necessary knowledge via taxes, rights, and other obstacles that may occur. Linked to that statement, schools rarely take part in providing vital information on these forms of life skills. Therefore, many are lacking in taking care of themselves when left on their own. Additionally, personal habits reflects on one's work ethic. For example, if a graduate lacks in self-discipline and experience, then, it shows to potential employers that the graduate wouldn't be efficient in doing their assigned task. Subsequently, it is becoming common that employers look for employees that have sufficient experience in the area of work. Throughout,it remains a problem if students carry more knowledge than an experience at hand. As more students are trained academically, the more decrease of jobs will occur. Even if higher education attainment will more likely achieve prestigious occupations, skills and experience play a larger role in getting the task done properly.
